HealthPartners Health Plans
If you're looking for health care that puts you first, HealthPartners has the tools, information and people you need to get and stay healthy. Their plans include Traditional plans, Empower plans, Three for Free plans, and Short-Term plans. Their medical coverage features offer access to a nationwide network of more than 650,000 providers and 6,500 hospitals with no referrals needed. They offer affordable rates, a range of deductible options, and 100% coverage for well-child exams and immunizations. They also offer coverage for medications and discounts at fitness clubs and programs to help you stay healthy.
The Traditional plan gives you coverage for preventive care, office and urgent visits, inpatient and outpatient hospital care, medications, emergencies, and dental care for accidental injury. You have access to a large network of providers and hospitals as well as programs such as 10,000 steps to help you increase your activity and help reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure; Health Coaching by Phone, phone-based personalized courses to help you lose weight, lower cholesterol, reduce stress, and manage back pain; and Health discounts to help you save money with discounts from fitness clubs, exercise equipment, Weight Watchers, and more. Deductibles range from $1,000 to $10,000 with 80% to 100% coinsurances after deductible is met.
The Empower HSA plan is a high-deductible health plan that gives you the option to pair it with a Health Savings Account that you establish with a bank. The Empower plan gives you coverage similar to the Traditional plan that includes preventive care, office and urgent care visits, medications, hospital care, and emergencies. The difference includes the HSA which gives you financial control, savings, and tax advantages. You can contribute to an HSA and use the tax-free funds to pay for your family's qualified healthcare expenses. You decide how and when your healthcare dollars are spent. You may choose between 80% or 100% plan options that range from $1,200 to $11,200 in-network deductibles.
The Three for Free individual plan is the coverage you need, including three free office visits each year. The first $200 of your preventive care each year is paid in full, generic prescription medication is available for a $5 co-pay, and your first visit for emergency care, including related lab and X-ray services is covered 100% after a $250 co-pay. Programs to pursue better health are also included in the Three for Free individual plan. Deductibles range from $4,000 to $10,000 depending on the 80% or 100% plan options.
